This condition not only results in a height that is below average for the child’s age but also impacts cognitive development, immune resilience, and productivity potential in adulthood. This article explores various factors contributing to stunting, such as inadequate dietary patterns, poor sanitation, and limited access to healthcare services. The long-term effects of stunting, including its influence on children’s learning abilities and overall health, are highlighted. Additionally, this article reviews preventive actions that can be taken by governments, communities, and families, including ensuring adequate nutrition, providing nutrition education, and improving access to sanitation and healthcare services.
